Our standard varnishes have different levels of gloss (gloss, semiglossy, mat); we mostly stock colorless varnishes.
A clear coat is to provide a painted surface with the final finishing touch and/or protect the prime paint from the effects of weather.
Effect clear coats may be applied to either unpainted or painted surfaces.
The purpose of a varnish coat is to provide the surface with a desired finishing touch, while leaving the base surface visible under the varnish coat.
In the case of unpainted surfaces, the base surface must, of course, be flawless. Our selection includes varnishes in a variety of color tones, including metallic varnish.
Varnished surfaces withstand more minor damage without harming the paint coat, yet do not provide protection against corrosion.
